403-The Nature of Spiritual Supply

In this lesson we are going to find a realm where all that we will ever need in this world is. Jesus said:

John 14:1-3

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

This is marvellous! Jesus introduced us to a realm where all things are not only possible, they are ours by right. Did you know that you are an heir to God and all that God is and has?

“Giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in Light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.”

So this is what I will discuss in this lesson. I want you to forget any religious concept that you have entertained and thought it to be true. You have probably limited your self by not finding your full potential as a Son of God. Orthodox religion prevents you from coming up higher, to a place where you will begin to experience the freedom we all so much need. So let us start here.  We will make of this an experience, a lesson, the enfoldment of a principle, and as an example, so that you can begin to hear truth. Because we are taking as our subject the meaning of supply, it is imperative for us to realize that what ever we have thought supply was is not what it is. E/g Money is not supply.  

In the religious and meta-physical world the subject of supply is very often not treated quite so importantly as the realm of health, so we must find a balance here. The subjects of supply and health should be equal, for all of it comes from the place that Jesus prepared for us. However, somehow supply, in the religious and meta-physical world, seems more difficult to comprehend. The reason they should be of equal importance is that they both contain major truths coming from the realm called Grace.  

Acts 20:32-35  Paul said:  

 “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. I have coveted no one’s silver or gold or apparel. Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me. I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

However, it is not easy for the human mind to understand that health and supply are our ‘exceeding great reward’. The human mind is not aware that God is our exceeding great reward in all things. All we need is the awareness that God’s Presence is here and now, so that we never have to be in any form of lack, disease or feeling of guilt or fear of rejection. So you may say: “I have been a Christian for 10 or 20 years and still experience lack and fear. I still do not know what I am going to do tomorrow to survive”  

It is interesting that the moment the thought of supply comes, the thought of money also comes at the same time. This seems to be the norm in our human feeling of supply, but it is far from truth. Supply and money seem to be synonymous, but they are not the same,  because they are not as they seem to be to the human mind.  So we will take God’s supply as our major subject in this lesson.

We will start with an example to use as a demonstration. Why are you reading this letter? Answer this in your own mind. Perhaps before you ever came into contact with the Light of the World Ministries, you did not consciously think about the subject of supply, but now I am going to ask you to do so.  Of course, the only correct answer to my question is that we are now meeting in this place that Jesus our Lord has prepared for us: in God’s Presence. In order that we can begin to experience Life as it has been ordained for us before this world was founded, we need to accept that we also can be in the realm where Jesus is. Stay with it because this is the time for you to begin to experience the Grace of God and with it comes  healing and supply. It is wonderful!

The purpose then of your reading and listening, is that there is more to know about what Grace and Truth are. There is a way into the fullness of Life as Jesus said:

John 10:7-10.  

“Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

In our human sense of Life we are lost, we need illumination and we need the Grace of God to be revealed to us. So let us go on and find it. If there is any other thought in your mind, this is a good time to get it out. Let us look at the example of John and Peter when he fixed his eyes on the beggar at the gate Beautiful and Peter said,

Acts 3:3-6

“Look at us” So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold have I none to offer you, but such as I have, (spiritual knowledge of what Grace is) I give unto you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth , rise up and walk”..

All we have to do is be still and receive this Grace which is our rightful heritage. Peter is stating a fact when he says ‘Nothing else can I offer you’, and the thought behind the statement is that, if you came to get any thing from me you are mistaken, for all that you have need of is already within you. I will direct you to your inner Christ-Self which is what I Am; it is your total sufficiency in all things.    

I am here for the same purpose that you are, that truth may be revealed in my consciousness, through my consciousness, to my consciousness and AS MY CONSCIOUSNESS.  Do not think that I would be satisfied to sit here just to rehearse yesterday’s manna. Oh no! I am not here to repeat something that is already written in the Bible as truth. Oh no! I am in agreement with Paul who said, “I do not claim to have fully attained the Kingdom”. When I write to you, I am as eager to receive truth as you are. I am as eager to receive the touch of the Spirit as you are. I am as eager to receive divine Grace as you are, so we are all in the same boat.  

I have learned and I hope you have too, that God’s manna falls day by day on the just and the unjust without respect of person. It is we who have to rightly relate ourselves to God’s Presence in order for us to experience salvation at all levels of life. God’s grace is an omnipresent activity of the Spirit and therefore at any moment of any day my consciousness is opened to receive divine Grace: more especially when I meet with you in silent listening. I need a greater measure of it to share with you, because the more I can share with you the more successful I am, the happier I am, and the more spiritually prosperous I am. That is how Grace and Truth work in human consciousness.  My reason for writing this to you is that I may receive a fuller measure of the truth of the Christ Spirit and certainly that I may have 12 baskets left over when I am finished ministering to you.  So we have touched on the very first secret of supply.  

Supply is the Word of God Revealed in Silence to Us.

The Word of God needs to be heard because it cannot be grasped by the human mind. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that is heard deep within him; it is the way to total freedom. Therefore without receiving the Word of God we are not receiving supply, for we do not live by bread alone. We live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. We pray for daily bread, but we do not pray for baker’s bread; it is the bread Jesus spoke about.  

John 6

What did Jesus say and what is true supply? Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. Do not labour for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”  .  

The bread Jesus presented to us is the Word of God. So, the first lesson we learn is that supply is the Word of God and that the way in which we receive the Word of God can open our consciousness to the receptivity of the Word. Man shall not live by bread (baker’s bread), but by every impartation that proceeds from within us.

It is when we become receptive to the voice of the ascended Jesus that Life to its fullest measure is revealed to us, for that is the reason that Jesus came: to open our consciousness and bring us back to our true heritage. It is so wonderful!  

The first step then in the demonstration of supply is the understanding that the Word of God received in our heart by faith is our supply: all we have need of in life. Consciousness then has to be specifically opened to receive that Word.  Therefore, as a Spiritual Christian, the first act on awakening in the morning should be to open your consciousness to receive the Word of God, which is the bread of life. Then you should repeat the act of the seeking after truth throughout the day and before going to sleeping at night. This bread of life is the meat and the wine and the water of all that we need. Only the Word of God is meat, bread, water and wine. Any one who believes that they are going to be fed permanently and abundantly by any other means than receiving the impartation of Grace has entirely missed the Spiritual Path of Righteousness, presented to us in Christ Jesus.

Pr 12.28  

In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death. Pr 12.28  

Therefore our first act on awaking in the morning and our last thought at night is to remember that supply of any sort is the Word of God. Without the Word of God you have nothing, no matter how much money you may temporarily have. You only have yesterday’s stuff.  Money will perish, for it has no substance in it to sustain you. It has been truly said: “Money has wings”. Now, since we recognize that we do not live by money but by the Grace of God, our first step must be to open our consciousness to receive the engrafted Word of God which can bring salvation to us on a permanent basis.  

James. 1.21.  

Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. Be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of  the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of  man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Our very first step must be the opening of our consciousness to receive the engrafted Word, which is the Grace of God that saves the soul. The Grace of God is already within our consciousness, because God constitutes our consciousness. Therefore we are never separate or apart from our supply. Grace, which is our supply, is omnipresent and not only that it is also infinite.  Supply is however not available except in proportion as we specifically open our heart to receive it. Therefore our first act and our repeated act throughout the day and our closing act at night should be to close our eyes and open our ears in order that we may consciously realize that the Kingdom of God , the allness of God, is within us.  Supply does not come to me because I earn it, it does not come to me because of somebody’s good will. God’s Grace does not come into my experience because I deserve it. As a matter of fact I may enjoy the infinity of supply, whether I deserve it or not, as long as I consciously open my consciousness to receive it. In spite of all that we have been taught in the religious world, let me tell you that you have been erroneously taught. God’s Grace falls on the just and the unjust without respect of person. So you do not have to be good to receive God’s Grace. As a matter of fact, very often the prodigal son receives a little bit more than the humanly virtuous one. The requirement is silent receptivity of the Voice of the ascended Jesus who is Lord and Shepherd of our soul: who leads us into green pastures. As we hear Him we receive.  

Job 22.    

“Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; thereby good will come to you.  Receive, please, instruction from His mouth,  And lay up His words in your heart, If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up;  You will remove iniquity far from your tents. Then you will lay your gold in the dust, and the gold of   Ophir among the stones of the brooks. Yes, the Almighty will be your gold and your precious silver; for then you will have your delight in the Almighty, and lift up your face to God”. 

Acquainting your self with His Law (the law of the Spirit of life) is the secret of accessing the infinity of supply.  We have to incline our ear to His saying,

Pr 4:20

“Let His Word not depart from our eyes, keep His Word in our heart, for God’s Word is life to us who find it and health to all our flesh.”  .

Remember, God’s Grace is for the gentile and the Jew, for the bond and the free, for the black and the white. God’s Grace is for all who can perceive it in the silence of their meditation. God’s Grace is a free gift to all which, when heard, frees us from all the temporal powers we see in this world, such as disease, fear, lack and loneliness.    

Jesus said: Acts 2

“Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; moreover my flesh also will rest in hope, for you will not leave my soul in Hades, nor will you allow you’re Holy One to see corruption. You have made known to me the ways of life; you will make me full of joy in Your Presence.” 

God’s Grace makes no distinction between the good and the bad, the just and the unjust. Even Jesus as a man was not an exception. Jesus also tasted the fear of death. Jesus also felt alienated from the Life of God for a season and made His bed in the same hell that we were all in, and suffered death for us all so that Grace might appear in the resurrection from the dead. Now, in the recognition of this, we can experience life to the full. We can now reign in Life by One Christ Jesus, if we receive the free gift of righteousness, by accepting God’s Grace.  

Romans 5:17,18.  

“For if by the one man’s offence death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Therefore, as through one man’s offence  judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of  life.”   

There is only one condition that is placed on God’s Grace, and that is opening our heart to receive it.  We must recognize that the Christ, which is our life, is our Saviour within.  Christ, which is our Life and Grace, is standing at the door of our heart waiting to become aware of. He wants to sup with us, commune with us and impart His Grace to us. Will you let Him give you life so that you can live and not die.

He (Christ the Son of God) is knocking, waiting to be recognized. All that is necessary to enjoy infinite supply, God’s supply without limitation, is to recognize that Grace is not something material that requires opening your consciousness to receive it. God’s supply and God’s Grace are not received in the pocketbook but they are received by recognizing God’s Presence, where there is fullness of Joy. It is wonderful! All things are already yours right now. Can you take it or do you still have a feeling of lack?  

Matt5:15.    

Also He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lamp stand? For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. For whoever has (understanding of God’s Grace), to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”

When it is received in your consciousness it will not take very long for it to translate itself into tangible forms of supply such as money, food, clothing, transport etc. We however do not have to think about all these manifestations of supply. What we must do is receive the free gift of Grace. Grace is really the key to the Kingdom and all things that you have need of.  

In order that we may enjoy supply in infinite amounts we have to first of all close our eyes as to whether we deserve it or not.  A sense of guilt or fear is left over from the ancient Hebrew concept of God. In those days they believed that by pleasing God they could persuade Him to supply their needs. This is but superstition. It is when we feel we don’t deserve it that we will always be without. We are all, more or less, born with this feeling of unworthiness. Therefore we must all get to know the true God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has declared us worthy and right in His eyes.    

God’s Grace is equally given to the saint and the sinner. The only difference is in the receiving of it. It has nothing to do with our behaviour. When we believe the Love God has for us all that Grace will begin to appear in tangible forms of supply. God’s abundance is never withheld from any one, regardless of their sin; nor is Grace ever given to any one because of their virtues. All these beliefs are a part of human superstition and myth: a belief in opposing forces of good and evil.  Remember in God’s presence there are no opposites, there is only Life in its superabundance.  

In God’s Presence there is only fullness of Life and immortality. In God’s Presence, where it is always now, there is no lack of anything. All things that God is and has are also yours. God wants to bestow His Love upon you. Receive it now like little children, for such is the Kingdom of God . God’s Grace is infinite and omnipresent, it is without favour, and dependent only on one thing and that is realizing that God’s Grace is spiritual and that it is an activity of your own consciousness.  Therefore the reason why lack and limitation is our lot is the failure to keep our consciousness active and alert and alive. In other words we must stay receptive; we must have a hearing ear to hear what the Father says. He shows us where to go and what to do next. Lack and limitation, poverty and riches have nothing to do with whether or not you are good or bad. It has nothing to do with whether you are a Christian or not, it has only to do with what you hear in secret. What you hear will either give you peace and success in life or it will bring you lack and confusion, so be careful about what you listen to.  

Take heed about what you hear, for the same measure with which you give, will it be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. For whoever has (understanding of God’s Grace), to him more will be given; but whoever does not have it, even what he has will be taken away from him.  

God’s Grace is always speaking to you, here and now. When what you hear brings a sense of wellbeing and peace, go for it, this is Grace. If however it brings a sense of uncertainty, don’t act, it is just your flesh trying to mislead you. You must be very still and listen. “Speak Lord your Son is listening”  

Because God’s Grace is Spiritual I have to open my consciousness to receive it, not my pocketbook. When I open my consciousness to receive God’s Grace, whether I am good or bad, sick or healthy saint or sinner, makes no difference. When I open my heart to hear God’s Voice, I receive His Grace, and I receive it in His Presence not anywhere else.   

John 14.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.”

Jesus prepared God’s Presence for us. We can now enter into Life and experience His Grace and the fullness of His supply. However, you must also realize that no man can come into this realm of Grace and Truth until he sees Jesus, the author and finisher of our Faith.   

John 10.1-5.

Jesus said:”Most assuredly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.  And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.  Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.”

Strangers are the voices of lack, fear and guilt. Guilt, fear and lack cannot enter into the realm of Grace. These things are part of the myth (flesh and blood).  They all represent a sense of alienation from the life of God and cause a blinding veil of ignorance that prevents us from knowing what God or Grace is. It is only by the Voice of Jesus, who rose out of fear and lack and ascended on high, that we can experience Grace. So now listen to Him and be led back to the Father’s house where all things are restored to you. Don’t let new-age or orthodox religious doctrines lead you to stray from Jesus, for they do not acknowledge Jesus as Lord. They do not teach that Jesus is the only Way into the Most Holy Presence of God. They have thought to access God’s Presence by returning to the Now Realm. But they do not emphasise the necessity of death to self in order to be born again in Spirit and in Truth.  

I can now receive God’ Grace in the Spiritual nature of My Being which Christ is. It is wonderful! Now I do no longer take thought as to what I should eat or drink. In His presence I no longer have to be concerned about the rent or transport. I find that Grace and Truth translates into terms of food, clothing and housing. I no longer have to reign over my own life, for I have no life to be preserved. My human life sense was nailed to a cross and I arose in newness of Life where God my Father performs that which is given me to do. God my Father perfects that which concerns me. It is wonderful!  

All of those things needed for our experience come to us by Grace, not by our own will or volition.  If I for instance take thought for money or transportation or food or clothing I loose my entire spiritual demonstration.  In other words, I have forgotten who I am.  

James1:19-26

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.”  

Do you realize that God our Father does not know anything about food, clothing or housing?  God knows no more then than that which He has ordained to the Seed which is Christ: yours now for the realization.  So we must be receptive, for it is our own awareness of God’s Presence that is our supply. Don’t forget who you are, keep on looking into the perfect Law of liberty for that is your supply for all eternity.  

The Bread of Life’s Supply

John 6:41-51

Jesus said:  “I am the Bread of Life” (all supply).  No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. Not that anyone has seen the Father, except He who is from God; He has seen the Father. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. I am the bread of life. “Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which comes down from heaven that one may eat of it and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”.  

Remember, God does not know anything about the unleavened bread of our ancestors or the super refined foodless bread that we buy in the supermarket today. God awareness is our bread, it is all we need. It contains only one ingredient, Grace, which sustains man on all levels of life. Yes, Grace translates itself into any form of food, and let me assure you that if we live in God’s awareness even inferior food will not harm us. Grace will change inferior food into that which your body needs, so do not be overly concerned about the poisons which are put into foods today. If you live by God’s Grace no evil thing can enter you to defile you or make a lie. Just use wisdom when you eat and give thanks. Jesus said: ”Be of good cheer, I have overcome this world” John 16:33.  

God awareness contains one word, Grace. God feeds, clothes, maintains and sustains His image and likeness unerringly by an act of Divine Grace. Grace knows what you have need of even before you ask. Grace does not function from any act of yours or mine. Our only activity is receptivity. Therefore we cannot stand with a begging bowl and be receptive; we must open the heart where God will appear to you as Grace, containing all that you will ever have need of. Grace appears not only for your physical needs, it also appears as transport or a seat on a plane or a companion. Can you now begin to see how Grace works?  

God then appears through and as our consciousness. God cannot be divided. God and His offspring are one; there is no separation. All we have to do is become aware of it in Spirit and in Truth.  

Therefore the moment we open our consciousness it is as if (in human terms) we were opening our two ears and saying while listening:”Thy Grace is My sufficiency in all things”.

Now in this kind of receptivity, God’s Grace is pouring into us. Then all we have to do when we get up from our meditation is be about our business, taking no thought for our life. Taking no thought for tomorrow, just doing those things that are necessary for us to do. In the earlier part of our spiritual experience we may have to return a dozen times a day to the opening of the inner ear, which means opening our selves to God’s Grace. Be a beholder of God’s supply; then again go about your business. In God’s miraculous way your supply appears.  

You know that supply appeared to the Hebrews as Manna from Heaven. For protection it appeared as a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. It was witnessed that there was not one feeble one among them. Even their shoes did not wear out. This was all Grace appearing to them. It was the Presence of I Am that I Am that appeared to them in many wonderful forms of supply. Can you see this?   

Let us now apply this lesson to our every day needs.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every Spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Eph 1;3  

Father, what are Spiritual blessings?

Spiritual blessings are; Impartation of Light (understanding) from God’s word. God has good thoughts towards us which is life to us.  

Impartation:   

Jesus said, “Consider the lilies of the field, HOW they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these”. Matt 6:28 .

We will never know HOW the lilies grow but we know they do.  

Jesus said, “Of My own self I can do nothing”  His life was a demonstration of resting in the Father and letting His regenerative Agape Love flow through Him.  

Agape: Having the mouth open in wonder or surprise: Gaping.

God is eternal

Because the regenerative capacity of His life is indestructible!

A love that cannot be overcome.

 

Capacity: Legal qualification.

Behold, I will do something new among you.   Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert. The beast in the field will honour Me. Isaiah 43:19.   Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, Rivers in the bad-lands. Wild animals will say, “Thank you”. Isaiah 43:19 Message Bible.
