402-The Nature of Spiritual Power
Good morning to all who have ears to hear what the Spirit of God is saying. This beautiful New Day we are going to see a Truth that may be the most important Principle we need in this hour of great confusion. In the Light of what is happening in the world today we must find out what is Spiritual Power? Do we know it, or have we thought Spiritual Power to be a power over evil, a power to combat sin, disease or any other form of discord?
We are going to find out what Jesus meant when He said:
"All Power is given to Me in Heaven and in earth."
What a statement, what does it mean?
Spiritual Power was given to us in Gen1 when God said: "Let Man have dominion over all the Creation."
Our Father invested the nature of Love into the Only Begotten Self, His Image and Likeness. God the Father imbued Him with Glory and Power to reign in Life without fear, do you understand this, this is our heritage.
Before Adam found fear and guilt he was full of confidence and power. In his Christ Self he was totally Self sufficient and Self contained by the Spirit of Christ, which was and still is His Life, in fact the Life of all men.
"For as the Father has LIFE in Himself and is Self –existent, so He has given to the Son to have LIFE in Himself and is Self-existent." John 5:26 Ampl.
In Christ Jesus we have been given back this God given dominion, we must now begin to exercise our God given Authority and know who and what we are, do you hear this?
It is then not a matter of getting dominion, for we already have it, we must know this by faith, we must hear it within our heart, we must perceive our Son-ship, it is ours.
"But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach." Rom10.
So we see in this part of Scripture that we no longer have to wait for Jesus to come out of the Sky to give us this Power, we must know that we already have it in our mouth and in our heart, do you understand this? "By your word you shall be justified and by your word you shall also be condemned," Matt 12:37 this is the Law:
Proverb 18:21.
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
The question comes to me whether the average Christian knows this principle:
Matt 15:19
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:.
It is in the knowing of this Truth that we become free from all so called temporal powers such as sin, disease, lack and fear.
John 8:36
"Whom the Son makes free is free indeed." , so this is the essential part of our Christian walk, DO YOU KNOW IT?
Where are we going when we know this Truth Jesus gave us in his triumph over all temporal power, even death itself? We are lifted into the Presence of God if we no longer judge by appearances where we can not be touched by what is known as temporal powers of disease, lack or even death itself. In the world today we see many forms of evil, we must however not give authority to any temporal power. Whether they are bombs, terror, disease or even death itself, they have no power over us when we know that Spiritual Power is the Only Power.
There is no Power in effect, do we see this?
So then, what is our goal, what is our hope at this moment in time? We must have a clear cut understanding why the Church of Christ Jesus today exists in this world of looming doom, we must know why Jesus gave us the Holy Ghost?
This evening it came to me this way. We really only have one major principle to live by and that is non-resistance, seeing the Kingdom of God as the Only Activity. We have no theology or doctrine to govern us. We have no beliefs in anything. We have been presented with a Spiritual Way by our Father God, called the Way of Righteousness in which there is Life and in its Pathway there is no death at all.
Proverb 12:28 Amp.
"LIFE is in the WAY of RIGHTEOUSNESS, and in ITS pathway there is no death but IMMORTALITY, perpetual, ETERNAL LIFE."
The question is, can we demonstrate it in our daily lives?
To some extent we have demonstrated it in past times and we have seen many wonderful healings and deliverance, but we have not yet seen the fullness of our calling in Christ Jesus.
The first thing we must know is that in the Presence of Spiritual Power, temporal power is not power. Temporal power such as disease or lack can only manifest when we are ignorant of God’s Presence. Nothing can enter into God’s Presence that defiles or makes a lie, for all temporal power is really a lie, it was not God ordained.
Spiritual Power is not a power over anything or any body, therefore we do not fight error, nor do we try to heal it, we must just realize its non-power in the Light of what Jesus taught us, do you hear?
So, in the final analysis, the only overcoming there is, is the overcoming of our ignorance of the Authority invested in us in the beginning. Realizing our Gen 1 dominion is the only thing we have to do. We must know intuitively who we are in Christ Jesus and take our stand in His Re-surrection from the dead. The last temporal power death, is also to be seen as a non power, it is wonderful, no one has ever died, do you hear this?
So it is then as the Body of Christ awakens to its true Identity we must leave behind all of our previous theological beliefs which all have a conviction that there is a God Power that does things to sin, disease or lack, e/g, a God power that fights the devil or fights sin. We must now accept as our first principle the only reality and that is Spirit, the Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omni-active agent which fills all the universe. Beside God’s Presence there is nothing else, do you hear?
"There is but ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM, and ONE GOD and FATHER of ALL, WHO RULES OVER ALL, ACTS THROUGH ALL, and DWELLS IN ALL.Yet to each of us individually GRACE was given, measured out with the generous love of Christ. For the Scripture says: ‘He RE-ASCENDED ON HIGH, He led captive a host of captives and gave gifts to men. Now this ‘re-ascended’—what does it mean but that He had first descended into the lower regions of the earth? (the world below) He who descended is the same as He who ascended AGAIN far above all the Heavens in order to FILL THE UNIVERSE."Eph 4:5-10 Weymouth transl.
Therefore, what we have to demonstrate in this hour of great confusion is, that in the presence of God there cannot be powers of sin, disease, lack or even death.
Any form of evil can only exist in the absence of Spiritual Power, just as darkness can only exist in the absence of Light.
"In him was life; and the life was the light of men."
John 1:4,5.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended {comprehended: or, did not admit, or, receive} it not.
However, in the Presence of Light there can be no darkness, there is no argument about this, is there now? All Spiritual Presence and Power is the Light and Life of Man and this Light of Life has no opposites, it is the eternal will of God. When the Body of Christ comprehends this and hears this Word of Life from within Itself, temporal powers cannot exist, do you hear?
This Light of Life lights up every man who comes to this realization, there is Only God as the maintaining and sustaining Presence in which there is fullness of Joy, it is wonderful.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,
John 8:12.
"I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life".
Jesus as the Life giving Spirit of the Body of Christ is now our Light and our Life, if we hear His Voiceand do not listen to the strangers of the un-consciousness, in which all the imaginations of the carnal mind function, do you hear? We must be born again of the incorruptible Word of God to have the Life of Jesus flowing through as Light.
Peter 1:3,4.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant{ much} mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you {for us}, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." 1
You are now the Light of the World, the Light that lights the Way of Righteousness, it lights your pathway, without temporal powers to fight, it is wonderful!
Ps 119:130.
"The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple," it is wonderful.
The Light of God’s Word never battles with sin, neither does it correct any other form of error, it just dissolves it when it comes in contact with it, do you hear?
- The Light which is Christ never resists evil of any kind, for it knows that Our Father only is Power, there is no other.
- Jesus never fought sin, he forgave sin.
- Jesus never fought disease, he just said: "Open thine eyes, or pick up thy bed and walk"
This is Spiritual Power in demonstration, it is wonderful, can you say amen?
Jesus never argued with sin or disease nor did He preach moral law as the Pharisees did. By the anointing Jesus revealed Our Father to be the Only Loving Presence who never judges, He never rewards or punishes anybody for what ever reason. This is the answer to the powerlessness of the Body of Christ which still fights evil, thinking that this is our mission, but that is but a lie, we must not judge by any appearance of evil. Do you now hear the Voice of the Son speaking to you in your most inner being, saying:
"Resist not evil?
Abstain from all appearance of evil."
2 Thess 5:23
"And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."
There is only one record of Jesus resisting evil when he threw the money changers out of the temple, but that was an illustration for us to cast the moneychangers out of our own heart and mind, it was but an example.
Father God is telling us now that we have to cast out all these beliefs that money has power to provide your need or that health is in the pills or potions.
No, God is the health of our countenance. Now we must know that our Father is our total sufficiency and therefore we should not believe that we need to trust in the power of money for our welfare. By trusting in the power of money the Temple of God which you are becomes defiled by sin because we have chosen to believe in something else instead of the loving all power nature of the Father, do you hear?
2 Cor. 6:14-18
"And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.".
Even your Body is the Temple of God.
When we realize that God our Father is the creator and the maintainer of our whole life, then nothing of an evil nature can enter our Body, we can trust Him completely.
It is only by the superstitious beliefs that we believe that God somehow deals with us even with evil to teach us something.
The doctrine that God is ultimately reconciling even the devil is ignorance gone to seed, this is a gross and dark concept of the carnal mind. Let us therefore abandon any form of such fear filled beliefs of the mind of flesh, for these are the money-changers which defile the body.
Jesus taught the principle of resist not evil, we must now trust that God is our protection and in His loving care we cannot be harmed in any way or form, it is wonderful. Of course this takes dedication, for all outer evidence tells us that we are threatened on all sides, by terror, by sin, by disease and lack, so how can we escape this world of apparent evil?
The Way to escape the corruption known as this world.
2 Peter 1:2-4
"Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust"
In order to escape the temporal powers of sin, disease, lack and fear of death we come to Christ Jesus, we, like Jesus become partakers of the Divine Nature of the Lamb of God who overcame the devil through none resistance.
Jesus did not even resist the death of the Cross,
do you hear?
12:10,11.
"And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death."
Jesus said to Peter who tried to save him from going to the Cross:
"Those who live by the sword will also die by the sword."
And so it is, and I am convinced that the Light of the World (the Mind of Christ) does not fight evil or resists any other form of error, it knows that our Father is the only Power.
This Light is your born again consciousness which has no cognizance of anything what God did not ordain. Christians who live in this Light of Life are not disturbed in any way by what the terrorists are doing or what antrax virus can do, do you hear?
Rather, in this Light being no darkness can exist in its presence, it is wonderful.
Perfect love cast out all fear.
If we do have an experience of fear, become still and meditate on the ONE POWER which IS LOVE and besides IT there is NO OTHER.
Scripture tells us:Ps 16 :11.
"In Your Presence there is fullness of Life and Light and at Your Right hand there are pleasures for ever more."
This is Spiritual Power.
We intuitively know this, and like I said before; It takes dedication to realize that where the Spirit of the Lord is realized as the Only Power and Presence there is emancipation from all temporal powers, are you hearing this beloved.
This is our heritage.
It does not say where the Spirit of the Lord is there is a battle with evil, does it now?
Our heritage does not come to us by might or power, freedom comes to us when God’s Presence is realized as our hiding place, wonderful. Jesus prepared this Realm of All Power for us when he said in:
John 14:1,2
"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."
Where the Spirit of the Lord IS realized, there is freedom from all bondage to what this world calls power. In thy Presence there is fullness of Joy. That does not indicate a battle or an overcoming or resisting a devil at all does it now?
No, we realize that if we abide in Christ Jesus there is nothing to contend with. Remember, Jesus already proved in His resurrection and ascension that death is also but a realm of the carnal reason of man.
Death is only a temporal power and acts as a power as long as we fear it.
We must therefore look at Jesus the Author and finisher of our Faith who for the Joy that was set before Him endured the Cross, lest we should be weary and faint in our minds.
Light does not contend with darkness.
In the Presence of God’s Creative Word there is no opposing power to disturb God’s Will for us at all.
So that is now our question; If I accept that Jesus has been given all power to disannul this world of evil appearances and said: "Ye shall receive Power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you". Acts 1:8
I must refrain from using even the mind to fight evil. In silent prayer I must say; "Speak Lord". When God’s Word is heard in our silent meditation, the Earth of temporal power melts.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. (Just at the break of dawn)
The heathen (carnal reason) raged, the kingdoms (of this world) were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Ps 46
In the realization that God’s Voice when heard in our inner most being as the streams that make glad, all temporal power dissolves. Remember the imaginations of the Carnal mind have no substance, law or nature to maintain themselves, they are all illusions of the un-consciousness of flesh.
God is Light and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we have fellowship in this realm of Light, the blood of the Lamb cleanses us from all temporal evil which has somehow attached itself to our experience.
1John 1.
"This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness (good and evil), we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."
Now we take the principle of non-resistance as our working principle, for that is how Jesus rose from the dead in victory. We must be dedicated to work it through, even though all appearances to the contrary are evident in our experience, don’t give up, Love never Fails.
"Love never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail {Gr.vanish away}; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away
1 Cor 13:8-13
{Gr. vanish away}. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought {or, reasoned} as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly { Gr. in a riddle}; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.<"
This is not a law or a formula, this is the Love of God demonstrated who sees all man equal in His sight
We who now know that God reconciled all creation back into His Presence, we see all mankind free from temporal powers and bring them up into the Presence of God where they too can be free from fear.
This is our dedicated prayer to even pray for our enemies and forgive them 70 times 7 for their ignorance of God’s Presence and love them, for they do not know what they do.
Jesus gave us the principle, "Put up thy sword."
"Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus. Then said Jesus unto Peter, "Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?" Showing non—resistance to even the death of the Cross, do you hear?
After we have acknowledged the principle Jesus has shown us, it is imperative that each one of us apply it daily, even if the going sometimes gets rough, we must not resist evil, even in our own family, and that is hard. In many cases the temptation to resist our partners in marriage is the hardest to deal with, but it is soooooo wonderful to be able to say: "Yes dear", and smile and have the feeling of it when we are saying it.
So you see beloved, everyone of us can bring forth the Splendor of Spiritual Authority by applying the principle of non-resistance, it is wonderful, let us do it and see the Salvation of God.
So prove for yourselves that in the Presence of this realized Principle we have accessed Spiritual Power. We now again have the dominion as it was in the beginning before mankind descended into the darkness of flesh and blood. We have come back to the Garden of Eden when mankind only knew God to be his total sufficiency, his total being. No temporal power had any influence on the Creature of God, it was and now again is wonderful.!!
As the Body of Christ we will all be drawn back by the Father into the Realm of Eden where we all were in the Bosom of Love and Peace before the world began.
Meditation.
Jesus said: "Come unto me, I AM your SPIRITUAL LIGHT, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
In the light of all we have read and heard today you are no longer afraid of sin, disease, lack or impending doom.
"I will give you rest for your soul. I will never leave you nor forsake you, only trust in the Grace and Truth of My Word which has come to you at this moment. This is the Manna, the Bread from Heaven which will sustain you for ever, it is wonderful, the Word has become Flesh in you.
My meat is food indeed and will satisfy your soul unto the full appearing of My Presence in you and you shall never lack again.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day."

Loving greetings to all from us in Australia.
We thank the Father for this wonderful letter which will build us up in our most Holy faith.
We were going to have Kathy’s letter "Changing the cause of History" this month but it is not ready yet. So it will come when the time is right.
We are very busy at this moment and we like to give thanks for all the wonderful letters we have received and also the E-mails. We hope to answer them all. I like to share a few snippets again from the letters we have received.
And I like to start with Joanna from Mexico and I quote: "Certainly the Principle of NON-RESISTANCE is the Secret of Life. When we can say "YES" to anything and everything, we are free. The moment we resist there arises a sense of separation from God: from Good, which is the very instrument for overcoming evil. It is the instrument because in Its Presence the appearance of evil IS NOT. There is no question of its being a power to overcome another power, for there is but ONE POWER. IT IS LIGHT.
Eternal Love, Eternal Joy Joanna.
The next one is from Janna in Denver and I quote: "You shared of how sweet it is when Brethren dwell together in unity and I am beginning to taste of that honey too!! I am coming to Know that True Fellowship has nothing to do with whether people agree with me or not or if I am physically in meetings with them, But that our fellowship is in the Father and His Son!! Yes, I am having Sweet Fellowship in the ‘Spirit’ in the Consciousness of that One Only begotten that is even Now Being Raised up!! And I am truly joined by that cloud of Great Witnesses that so encompasses me!! Then, as ‘others’ appear and we share in the Oneness of Being via E-mail, letters or face to face gatherings, we are enjoying that which already has and is our Fellowship-One Life-One Body-One Spirit…There is no ‘division’ or ‘differences.’ Isn’t it Wonderful!!!!!!!!! Love to all Janna.
The next one is from Pastor Renilo in the Philippines and I quote:
"Thank you once again for the tapes and letter. I was very blessed and energized reading about ‘Recognition’ . I find myself growing in the Lord as I recognized that I need not to worry because I am a child of the living God. HE IS MY TRUE HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS and I AM COMPLETE IN CHRIST JESUS.

One more from Robert in Cambridge and I quote: " It is Wonderful when the Lord leads us besides the still waters and in paths of Righteousness for His Name sake. A Scripture that has really been alive lately James 3"17,18 "Now the Wisdom from above is first indeed Pure, thereupon peaceable, linient, compliant, bulging with Mercy and good fruits, undiscriminating, unfeigned. Now the fruit of Righteousness is being sown in peace for those making peace (the unbroken Fellowship with the Father Consciousness.)
